Each one of the individuals in this slideshow has a profound story to tell: some of the stories are heart-wrenching, some are inspiring, and many are both.

You can read about the endeavours that they are all part of in the Projects page.

Thank you for visiting positively AFRICA’s home on the web.

positively AFRICA is dedicated to working with African groups to fill gaps created when HIV/AIDS is added to life’s challenges.

IN JUNE 2011, positively AFRICA made an easy amalgamation with Victoria International Development Association (VIDEA). Over the years, pA has worked with VIDEA on most of our projects; the amalgamation has formalized our relationship. VIDEA is a larger organization with a long history of cooperative work with global partners. We are updating the website to reflect this change. You may notice places where the website has not quite caught up ... please contact us if you have any questions. Read more about this change in our latest Newsletter.

We believe everyone must have the opportunity to live with hope and dignity—and we know that small efforts by those with means can bring almost unimaginable benefits to vulnerable people living with HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Your help is important!

Please learn more about positively AFRICA and the work we do by exploring this site.

With love and respect, positively AFRICA
